Bike Shop League Race 3: Slaney managed to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory in tonights race with the club taking positions 2-5 in a 5 man break! Congratulations to Phil Skelton (unattached), who has improved no end since beginning at the Slaney novice league, on his win and hard luck to Mylie Kavanagh who rode a great race and just lost out on his first win. Big turn out again tonight and nice to see so many SCC jerseys on the start line. Especially good to see such a turnout for the underage event and nice to see Niamh and Rory Murphy back racing while Veronica promises to ride the main event next week!
