Many thanks to Peter Thatcher, Bill Jordan and Stephen Kelly who assisted the underage riders at their training session on the Davidstown circuit on Saturday. By all accounts the lads are flying and the hard job is holding them back! Weather permitting the session will continue next weekend at 11am. We also held our first Sprocket Rocket training session in Donohoes on Saturday with about 8 youngsters on board and Pat Whitney, Mick Howe & Liam Ruth taking charge of proceedings. Thanks to the parents who stayed for the session and to Olivia, Nicholas, Riley, Aine, Finn, Conor, Ruari and Charlie for taking part. Ruari & Charlie will be getting a loan of the club racing bikes to try out for a few weeks and will link up with the underage training group later. Next Saturday at 10.30am is the next session.
- Great to see a good sized group out for the tour today. Paul Nolan was in charge of proceedings and took the group in the Kiltealy, Borris, Graigue direction before turning back with the strong wind behind them.
We mentioned gearbags in an earlier post and there seems to be enough interest to go ahead with order. If anyone else is interested can they talk to Bill Jordan over the next week or so.
