Weekend results

Tour of Connacht 2 day:  7th for Davy Walsh & 9th for Frank Dunne on Final GC at the Tour of Connacht. Also 3rd place in TT for Davy and top 8 in all stages. Not bad with a few pro’s ahead! Well done lads.

Brendan Campbell Mem , Donore: Elliot Young 3rd in U12, Reece Young rode a great race for 4th in U16. Fionn Jordan was in the break early on but when it was brought back a bad crash at the halfway mark held up the bunch. Although not hurt it meant his race was over. Another good day for SCC. (from Bill Jordan)

Many thanks to Derek Webb and Micheal Noonan for their work on the County Champs.

This Week:  The Bike Shop League continues in Camross on Thursday night. Last league of the season and deserves support. If anyone is not racing please offer to help at event with a car or on a bend. There is a serious shortage of marshals at all events this year which is going to result in cancellations or safety issues.

Tour of Wexford 2 day: If you haven’t entered already please note entry for the 2 day is filling up. I’m not doing a group entry for this event but if Slaney members enter themselves online the club will reimburse all riders who start the event.
