- The Slaney duo of Alan Galavan & Micheal McLean who were joined by Dave Allen in a composite Slaney team in the Charleville 2 Day. In the final GC rankings Alan finished 11th, Dave 42nd and Mick 57th. Alan was 4th in the TT, just 16 seconds of the win.
- In the Betty Darcy Race in Gorey the strong Slaney contingent faced rain of biblical proportions and high winds! Best finishers were Pat Dobbs and Stephen Kelly, 8th & 9th I think, in the A4 race. Well done to local riders Denis McCarthy, who took a great 2nd in the A2/3 race, and Albert Walsh who took 2nd in the A4 race.
