Slaney Cycling Club’s spins commemorating the 20th anniversary of the Tour de France stage start in our town takes place on Saturday July 14th.
A reminder of some logistics:
1. We plan to meet at the Tour de France monument from 08:30 on Saturday morning with a roll out at 09:00.
2. Both groups (Cork & Carrick-on-Suir) will leave together and will do a quick lap of the town and then will separate at a safe spot after a few km.
3. Please get in touch with Phil Skelton for any queries relating to the Cork group or Bernie Whelan for Carrick related queries.
4. In order to get as many people involved from the club as possible, a third group heading to perhaps New Ross and back should be considered by anyone who would typically head out with the Saturday/Sunday tour that cannot stay overnight in Cork or Carrick
