As part of our fundraising activities for the 2010 season Slaney CC will host a table quiz in the Riverside Hotel on January 20th 2010. There will be some great prizes and plenty of craic on the night. Bill Jordan is MC and the event will be a great chance for cycling supporters around the county to get together in a social gathering. We’d love to see club members past and present from all the clubs get together on the evening.
With several Slaney riders on the panel for selection for the Wexford county team in the 2010 FBD Insurance Rás fundraising is essential and we want to see all Slaney members support this important event by encouraging family and friends to attend the event and fill those tables. If anyone get’s a extra bottle of spirits or wine they can’t quite get through over Christmas perhaps they might donate it as a raffle or spot prize for the night. Likewise if anyone would like to donate a voucher or product from their business or profession it would add to the evening. If anyone needs a A4 poster let me know.
