Saturday 19th spin: Could be wet & windy tomorrow, thinking of heading to Ballinaboola, via Clonroche and back through Wexford. Could make the route longer or shorter depending on weather. Southerly wind so tailwind home. Leave ALDI at 9.30am
Sunday 20th spin: Sundays tour will leave the Duffry at 10am. With uncertain weather we’ll decide on route on the morning.

Saturday spin leaves the ALDI carpark at 9.30am: Going to Aughrim via Carnew and home through Arklow and Gorey. Can stop for Coffee in Aughrim. Forecast good, NE wind so tail wind home.
Sunday tour leaves at at 10am from the Duffry Gate , Enniscorthy: This weeks planned route is towards Ferns, Camolin, Clogh roundabout, Gorey, Crannford, Camolin and home along N11. Plenty of options to turn Camolin or Clough for a shorter spin.
Great numbers out at the TT last Sunday. It would be great to see everyone out again over the weekend.

New order of Stayin’ Alive jerseys and gilets
News of a new order for “Stayin’ Alive at 1.5” gear from Phil Skelton >>> I will be putting in a new order for stayin’ alive at 1.5 gear shortly. If you are interested in being included in the next stayin’ alive at 1.5 jersey/gilet order please send an email to stayinaliveat1.5@gmail.comand I will reply with order details later in the week. I’m still waiting for a couple of the finer details from Spin 11 but roughly I expect the jersey to be €45 and the gilet (which is a nice outer shell showerproof, windproof and packable garment) around €55. These are cost price including VAT and administration charges. Once you’re happy with your order I will then invoice you a PayPal docket. On receipt of this, I will process the order. Order will take around 6 weeks from that time. Please share with others who you think might be interested.

We’re in the process of setting a date for the club AGM which will be in early November. At our last committee meeting we discussed ways of making motions and decisions made at the AGM more relevent to club members. To this end we have decided this year to hold two informal meetings prior to the AGM. One will be predominently for the touring section and one for those who raced in 2013 or previously and who plan on racing in 2014. They won’t be mutually exclusive as many members take part in tours and sportives and also race so all are welcome at both meetings.
We hope to have an informal discussion on where we want the club to go to in 2014 and beyond and how members and the club in general can help each other to achieve our goals. Hopefully we can encourage and facilitate more participation in cycling whether thats thru midweek or weekend spins, taking part in a first sportive or novice league race or racing at a high level. We hope at the racing meeting to outline winter training spins to commence in November.
We’ll post details of venue and timing next week (possibly next thursday and friday night) and encourage a good turnout.
