Stage 4 Gorey 3 Day

Brian Maher was Slaney’s last man standing at the start line of today’s final stage of the Gorey 3 Day. Starting on the Main Street in Gorey, the rider’s headed for a 85km return journey back to Blessington. Brian was comfortable during the stage and finished safely in the bunch. We will give the Final Standings when they come to hand.

As a matter of interest, Paul Noble was placed 20th in yesterday’s Stage 2 Time Trial with a time of 7 minutes 31 seconds, only 31 seconds behind Jason Earls from SERC who won that stage in a time of 7 minutes.

Slaney Cycling Club would like to thank Paul Bolger, John Redmond, Fionn and Bill Jordan, James Maddock and everybody who helped Brian and Paul over the 3 days of racing.
