Second open win in 8 days for Reece!

Slaney U16 Reece Young took victory today at the Brendan Campbell Mem in Donore, Co Louth today just a week after he won the Tommy Brady Mem in Robinstown, Co Meath. Yet again his team mate Fionn Jordan was in the mix taking 5th today to add to his 4th last week. The lads are in flying form following their Belgian & Dutch adventure and Fionn also took 2nd place in the the Wexford Wheelers A4 race on thursday evening.

Not to be outdone Elliott Young, a first year U14, took 3rd today to add to his 4th last weekend. The lads next big date is the Errigal International 3 day in Letterkenny, Co Donegal with the National Championships on August 23rd/24th in Ballymoney, Co Antrim being the big goal for this season.

Coach Frank O’Leary has written a very good review of the Wexford Cycling trip to Belgium and the Netherlands which I have uploaded here as its well worth a read. The U16s have had a busy year with exams curtailing training until recently but we hope al the Wexford riders have a great end of season. Kudos to Frank, Bill & Nicky for the success of the trip.
