Four riders clear on the main road…..
…the main field not far behind.
Starting lap 2 and its all together again.
A dangerous breakaway including Rory Wyley, David Walsh, John Maguire, Conchubhar Ó Crualaoich, Alan Galavan and Andre Engemann is clear on the main road section.
Several riders try to bridge the gap…….
…and the bunch is lined out over the drag and into the headwind.
Beginning lap 3 and the winner will come from this group
The main field is still chasing at the start of lap 3…..
…but won’t get back on now.
The break is whittled down to 5 with Rory Wyley and Andre Engemann pushing the pace….
….and gaining time on the now second group on the road.
It’s a long , hot day in the sun for the main group.
Starting the final lap….
The chasing group is all together again…
By the finish line the lead group has broken up and ‘Supervet’ Rory Wylie take the trophy…
..another vet, St. Tiernans Andre Engemann takes second….
WW’s David Walsh is third…
