The Noel Redmond Memorial Road Race will take place next Sunday, 28 September 2008. The event will consist of 1 hour and 1 lap on of the old Dublin Road circuit. The circuit has been lengthened to take in the new roundabout at Scarawalsh which will increase the lap distance from 2 to 4 miles. Sign on at the WFC car park at 09.45. Race will be run on handicap and the first group will be off at 10.30. This is an inter-club event and is open to clubs in Co. Wexford. Club licences must be produced at sign on.

Noel Redmond was a former President of Slaney CC and was a great stalwart of the club. Noel could always be depended on to lend a hand at any club event whether it be time trial or road race.
