Reminder: According to the Articles of Association, February 1st is the official last day for the lapse of the 2011 membership. Please can you ensure your club members have renewed their licences. I recommend you encourage them to do it online, or if they have queries or problems doing so themselves to submit their application through the club via the usual online renewal and member return form.
Can I take this opportunity to thank you all for successfully using the online system, the use of the online system means that we already have in excess of 4000 licences processed, as opposed to 980 last year. Licences will be distributed to the clubs over the next couple of weeks. http://www.cyclingireland.ie/Home/News/2011-Membership-has-lapsed.aspx
Regards, Heather Boyle, Cycling Ireland
So far we have just 27 licences for 2012 renewed. If you have not renewed you licence so far you need to either do so online or send me a cheque as soon as possible. If you haven’t used the online system before just text me your email address and and I will assign it to your account and you can renew your licence and pay online. This is especially important for people who intend racing early in the season. Remember without a Cycling Ireland licence you have no insurance cover when riding in club activities or while training. Non competition licences are just €25 (€15 for 1st licence), club licence €60, full racing licence €125.
