Frank Dunne crashes out of Bill Hyland Mem.

Just when the form is coming round what happens?  You either fall or get the flu.  Well the former was the result for Frank Dunne on Sunday.  Having made it into the winning break he collided with a car that failed to stop for race officials and was lucky to escape with cuts and bruises.  Frank is made of tough stuff and is determined to be ready for the Corkman 3Day.  Alex Williams rode well and narrowly missed out on a top ten placing.  In the combined event Alan, Daniel and new member Mick McClean, had mixed fortunes with Alan taking 11th.  Numerous crashes hampered Mick and Daniel’s chances of finishing in the prizes.

Frank O’Leary took part in the prestigous Shay Elliot Memorial which is open to amateur and professional riders.  Frank rode really well and is coming into form for the May bank holiday Tour of Ulster. Best wishes and speedy recovery go to Paul Nolan who is still recovering from pneumonia.  Paul is still under Dr’s orders and may be off the bike for some time.
