Well done to Elliott Young – 1st U12, Fionn Jordan (riding his first race after a season lost to illness), Ryan Byrne – 2nd U14, Adam Thatcher – 1st U14 and Reece Young – 3rd U14.
The senior race was won in a tight sprint by Joe Christian in a tight finish from SERC team mate John Maguire. Just behind in 3rd was Luke Maguire, Wexford Wheelers, with Slaney’s John Dobbs in 4th place. Representing Slaney today were John, Shane Kelly, David Dempsey and Caimin Ruth. Finally super to see the great Roy Doyle from Wexford Wheelers back racing today proving motivation and love of the sport beats age hands down!
