In damp and foggy conditions, 35 cyclists signed on this morning in Oylegate to help raise badly needed funds for this worthy charity. With all participants opting for the 100km route the peleton headed for Enniscorthy lead by the stars of the future and would have continued on to New Ross but for some gentle persuasion that 100kms was a bit too much for an eight year old. The cycle was a great success despite all the punctures and a big thank you to Sylvia who carried riders and spare wheels back to Oylegate. Thanks to Willie Kavanagh in the Slaney Inn for the use of the parking facilities and the welcome hot food on our return. On behalf of the Coffee Kids Cycling Team we would like to express our gratitude to all the riders for a great days cycling and especially for your generousity which succeeded in raising 800euro on the day. If you multiply that figure by ten, well that is what it will mean to the villagers of the Aguas Amarillas Community in Nicaragua, well done.
