Entry to the 2014 Marmotte on 5th July is open but will fill up rapidly. A Slaney CC group including Phil, Murry, Paddy D, Stephen K and Mick B are heading over and will be arranging accommodation, transport etc. Talk to any of the lads for further details if you fancy some torture in the Alps!
- Bill Jordan is gathering numbers for this years Christmas meal. Same format as last year we’ll book a table but everyone looks after themselves on the night. Come for the meal or a few drinks later as you please but let Bill know so he can arrange restaurant. Date is 6th of December, venue to be confirmed.
- Another good turnout for last Sundays tour. The tours are at a very sociable speed at the moment so if you are thinking of coming out please do! Hopefully next weekends weather will be kind again.
- The weather has not been so kind to our Saturday morning kids spins but we’ll review the forecast on Friday for this weekend.
- The Wexford Wheelers seminar takes place on Saturday afternoon interesting with riders like track World champion Martyn Irvine and Sam Bennett taking part alongside presentations from Cycling Ireland coach Paddy Doran and also from Dave Curtis. It should be a very interesting and enjoyable afternoon.
