- Ann Jordan and Ann Skelton did the 50km in Castlecomer on Sunday and Andrew Dowse did the 100km. A well run event on good roads. Deenside Wheelers seem to have plenty of support in the local area as there was no shortage of food or marshals or help. Weather was lovely, better than at some sportives during our so called summer. A great day all round that was well worth the trip.
- Paul Nolan led the tour out to New Ross on the N30 returning through Old Ross and Adamstown.
Training spin leaves ALDI at 9.30am on Saturday mornings for 80-100km ride.
Sunday tours leave the Duffry Gate car park by the Tour de France monument at 10am for a 60-80km ride. If anyone fancies a shorter slower spin I’ll be taking Conor for about 30-40km from the Duffry also at 10am.
All welcome, don’t waste the nice autumn weather – we’ll have plenty of miserable wet days to complain about later!
