What a great turnout for the 1st coffee spin of 2017. Following a successful run of novice tours over the last five weeks we rolled two groups out of Enniscorthy this morning. The 1st group 10 strong with Rob and John Butler escorting, rolled out at 9.30am in the direction of Oulart and made the turn for Raheenduff. The 2nd group of 17 left at 10.00am with Mylie Kavanagh leading the group on the same route
The two groups came together before Kilmuckridge and rolled onto Kate’s Cafe for the coffee stop. We can’t say enough about the welcome and service we receive from all the staff in Kate’s who look after all the needs of the weary group with a selection of the best pancakes, scones and carrot cake, you’ll get anywhere and bottles of water to refill the bidons for the return journey. If you’re out cycling in the south east this summer put Kilmuckridge in mid spin for a great coffee stop at Kate’s.
The group rolled out as one and headed back through Boolavogue and the Harrow on through Ferns and back into Enniscorthy with everyone returning safe and happy on a lovely bright dry morning.
Looking forward to seeing you all next week for the Sunday Tour at 10.00 am from the Tour de France monument in Pettit’s car park.
All are welcome.
